What's the right age for wisdom teeth removal?
Most teens benefit from evaluation between ages 15 and 22. Earlier removal — before roots fully form — often means a simpler procedure and faster recovery. We'll take digital X-rays at the consultation and give you a clear recommendation.
How long will my teen need to recover?
Most teens feel well enough to resume light activity within 3–5 days. Full healing of the surgical site takes 2–4 weeks. Scheduling in June or early July gives plenty of cushion before fall sports, band camp, or college move-in.
Will my teen be awake during the procedure?
Not necessarily. We offer IV sedation so your teen can be completely relaxed — or even fully asleep — throughout the procedure. We'll discuss sedation options at the consultation and recommend the best fit for your teen's comfort level.
Do you accept insurance? What if we're uninsured?
We accept most major dental insurance plans. For families without insurance, we offer all-inclusive pricing and flexible financing options through CareCredit and Cherry. We'll go over costs clearly before you commit to anything.
Can we get a same-day consultation?

What is PRF and why does it matter for recovery?
PRF stands for Platelet-Rich Fibrin — a healing concentrate made from a small sample of your teen's own blood. It's placed at the surgical site to promote faster healing, reduce swelling, and lower the risk of dry socket. It's one of the reasons our patients recover so smoothly.
